What is Playschool?
The Starr Playschool program is a 37-unit curriculum created to introduce preschool-age children to a variety of learning concepts in an engaging way. This program is hands-on and play-based. It’s designed to be mostly completed at home with a parent or caregiver, but there are also be two virtual Zoom classroom sessions per week.

STARR KINDERGARTEN

Teaching a child to read, write, and do math is such a rewarding experience! Being able to instruct your child at home is so special; however, it can be challenging and feel overwhelming to know where to begin and how to teach developmentally appropriate concepts. That’s why I worked hard to create the Starr Kindergarten curriculum, a program that provides you with instructional videos and simple day-by-day hands-on activities
and workbooks to make Kindergarten homeschooling effective and fun.

Intro to American Sign Language

Small group class where we meet children exactly where they are and allow them to participate at their ability level. Children respond so well to physical movement, and this is a wonderful way to introduce a new language!

Join the amazingly talented Mr. Robbie for a six week intro to taking great pictures. Your child will learn tips and tricks from an industry professional on how to take and edit fantastic pictures! No fancy camera required

Join us for our cooking class! Enjoy time bonding together in the kitchen while making seasonal dishes with yummy ingredients. The ingredient list will be sent ahead of time, and each class will focus on a new cooking skill/technique.

Spanish Language Novice Class for Ages 7-10

Expand your child's language horizons with this fantastic class! Students will not only develop their Spanish vocabulary skills, but they will be introduced to verb usage, writing, and reading in Spanish as well. This is a great way for your child to interact with others and practice conversational Spanish with peers!

Spanish Vocabulary and Language Class

Small group instruction taught by a native Spanish speaking sister who is certified to teach languages. It will last 30 minutes each class, and there will be six weeks of classes. The class will focus on themed vocabulary in a fun and engaging way!
